This study bible used to be from World Bible Publishers Inc and it is evident from the World color maps at the back and the symbols invented by World to mark verses which are prophecy, promises and miracles.
The text has notes at the end. In the text the symbols are T for translation notes and R for cross references. Genesis 1:21 has T whales = sea creatures, similar to the Scofield. I have seen the end of verse reference system before in the Open Bible and New Open Bible also from Nelson. Nelson also uses the end of verse reference system for some of their reference bibles.
Good commentary notes at the bottom.
This is a red letter bible.
There are no in text maps which are now common in the newer study bibles.
Nelson's King James Study Bible (Liberty Annotated Study Bible) has more alternate translation notes in the center column.

I was a little disappointed in this also, it is not as detailed as I thought it would be.

Bought this for a Christmas present for my mother. She is really enjoying it, especially with the bigger print. She loves it.

Just about the best bible I have come across and I have many and all kinds translations etc. Great quality! I bought the hardcover and the leather bond. Only problem is that I am not a huge fan of KJV bibles. There are much easier to understand translations out there that get the same point across. hope they release it agin under different translation. Great deal and great commentary.
