Every church leader who cares about the first impressions his/her church makes on guests should read this book. Very readable with excellent anecdotes to illustrate points the author is trying to make. Churches should buy one for every member of greeter team and review one or two points each week.

Writing from a true servant's heart, knowing that welcoming guests was only one side of the coin, he wrote "Lasting Impressions" in 2009. Once again, it was a winner that guided churches to help create a culture of belonging.

"How to WOW Your Church Guests" completes his trilogy of Guest Service information for the church. The book is exceedingly practical, relevant for churches of all sizes, and written to challenge you to "make it obsolete" by adding your own best practices. I lead a Guest Services team at a large church in North Carolina, and anxiously awaited its arrival. Our Guest Services teams are on top of our game every week, but "How to WOW Your Church Guests" gives us new targets to aim for.

I bought this book as a tool for our upcoming welcome team. I need to read any book I give others. I am glad I did. Not every idea would work at our size church but the basic principle's can be applied to any church.

I am likely to purchase several copies for the team to have them look at and study the ideas together.

These ideas are so easy and most don't cost a dime... just a shift in thinking. The visitor's parking lot is as simple as putting an orange cone in a few spaces. I know when I've visited, I would regard that as extra special.

Great book and easy reference for church guest services
This book was laid out in a very readable mannner. It is full of helpful suggestions, however if you are in the ministry many of these ideals have been tried already. But this book does give you some thoughts to explore to help your church.
