An engaging book that is hard to put down. Rachel had so much hope and determination to win Silas' heart even though there were several years age difference between them. The real challenge felt unattainable though since Silas was still so in love with Anna, Rschel's older sister who had left the Amish faith. This book makes a reader also build hope in wanting as much for Rachel as she down deep wants for herself. The reader feels the pain and frustrations Rachel goes through. I couldn't put the book down until I knew for certain the final outcome.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys amish stories. it seems like I
always end up with my faith a little stronger after reading one of this author s
books. this one moved me to tears at times. other authors of amish stories should
take lessons from her. extremely well written and thoughtful. I hated for it to end.

I enjoyed this story and I am so sure others who read Amish stories will also enjoy this. The author did an excellent job concluding the series and I am sorry there's no more books. I will continue reading this author, though.

A great read and great storyline as well. The over arching message of trusting God first and not leaning on man was very timely for me. Thank you Wanda for being obedient to the Lord!

The story is very interesting as you are able to see that even very strict rules of religion can't stop people from feeling that they
know what they need, over and above what the bible and God tells them.
Good story and I found myself liking the people in the story.
