Home Erin Hunter Code of Honor. This rhinoceros was a talker. He had been arguing with the other members of his crash since before dawn broke. Chatter? Wait, came a muffled voice. All that was visible of Chatter was his tail; the rest of him was deep in the rhino’s flickering ear. His tail wagged, and he popped out, gulping down whatever parasite he’d been digging for. What is it?

Get in, save the girl and get back out. That was CHAIM agent Brice Whelan's mission. But saving missionary/nurse Selena Carter might be more difficult than expected. The counterfeit drugs have entered Georgia, and this time Selena isn't about to run away. Brice's mission hasn't changed; he still needs to keep her safe. And that means staying by her side—whether she wants him there or not.

she is in danger her friends killed. rescuer in site. But is she happy? no. she fights her rescuer to the point where he drags her to safety. also, like most romance books she is tiny, petite and needs some man to remind her to eat. she doesnt need a man she needs a caretaker. i maybe burning out on this kind of book but where are the normal size women who have common sense?

Secret Agent
Book 3

We meet CHAIM secret agent, Brice Whelan in this book. Brice is Italian and lives in Italy and Georgia. Right now he's there trying to win back the respect of the woman he secretly loves after forcing her to leave a very tense situation in Argentina. Their relationship grows tenser after her car is bombed and her father orders that she will be under 24-hour protection with Brice as her bodyguard. She warms up to her college friend after a while, but then things get really tense.

I pretty much figured out "who" from the beginning, but was very interested in following this to see how it all plays out. I liked the romance and how they had a bit of trouble coming together with his job and her independent spirit. Brice was able to rush to her rescue without coming on too strong. I think this should satisfy most readers.

I like how the author uses words from the language and gives each man his own tongue. Pastor Dev from the first book was just plain American and spoke like it. In the second book, I loved Eli's Cajun use of language, and in this book Brice used some Italian talk. It gives each of them a different spin, though they are all wonderful protectors of their women!

Book 3 in the Secret Agent series was Brice Whelan's story. We were introduced to him in book 2. After Brice rescues Selena Carter her father (also a CHAIM member) hires him to protect her from those who attacked her clinic Dia Belo. He takes her to his mansion where he knows the security will be tight.

Selena and Brice have always had a deep attraction to one another and she knows she can trust him but she's afraid to tell him what she's thinking because if she's right it could ruin a long-time friendship and also a good man's reputation. Brice knows Selena is hiding something. Is is to protect someone or is she involved with drug cartel?

Book 3 was not as action packed as the previous two books in the series. None of the characters from the previous two books had active roles which was a little disappointing but all in all is was a good read. Would love to see the series continue with the incorporation of previous characters.
Book 1 is Secret Agent Minister, Book 2 is Heart of the Night both excellent books!

I had high expectations for this book. Love Inspired Suspense is my favorite line. And it is hard to go wrong with an Irish hero!

Selena Carter was an interesting heroine at the beginning, dedicated and willing to risk her life to save other, even though coming from a rich family, or maybe because of coming from a rich family. But then she kept looking for excuses for keeping secrets from her friend and protector Brice and also refused to accept the truth that was right in front of her eyes. It provided for a great conflict in the end with Brice, but was not entirely convincing for a smart heroine - and that's the kind I like to see - behavior.

That said, the style was good, and I will probably still pick another book by this author.

Selena Carter is rescued from a missionary clinic that has been attacked. Brice Whelan is both her hero and best friend. The attackers follow her home to Altanta, and bomb her car, make threats, and try to drown her. She can't tell Brice the truth about what she believes happened in Argentina (but she doesn't offer a believable reason). Brice is supposed to be the super secret agent who belongs to a pretend organization. He never uses the organization's resources. Instead, Selena goes on the internet, and finds supposedly top secret information posted where even she can find it.
The writing style is pleasant, although it doesn't promote vivid mental images. The characters spend too much time thinking and not enough time doing.
I also recommend Stars Shine After Dark.

Although the book is part of an action packed series, it also stands alone. CHAIM agent Brice Whelan has been commissioned to go into northern Argentina and get missionary/nurse Selena Carter out.

Since she can remember Selena's always had deep feelings for Brice and think he returns them. However, she won't tell him all she knows about the terrorist attack on the missionary compound in the jungle where she worked. She's afraid it will put an end to all missionary efforts in the area. For his part, Brice is very attracted to Selena, but wonders if he can trust her. Is she part of a drug cartel?

This is a good romantic read, has everything you'd expect and more of a romance novel...like a great deal of action. The author makes the reader care about the story's two main characters.
