Went Tyu Went Tyu
Not knowing what to expect to begin with, I started reading this story and couldn't put in down until 2:00 a.m. when I finished amidst tears and smile. This is perhaps one of the best stories I have ever come across -- I cried at the separation and wept at the funeral, I smiled at the reunion, I cried again when they were in the hospital, I clapped when Sheila, Jay's Mom, finally rose up against an oppressive husband. What a story!! Readers grew up with the two boys as they were searching for their identity and future. I was heartbroken when Jay was forced to leave the island. That section ripped my guts out!! It is most wonderful, good enough for a movie! The character of the bully was a little far-fetched if I really need to criticize -- from bully making both their lives miserable to becoming a friend at the end. But it is all sweet and reconciliating anyway.
I cannot recommend this book more......go read it and cry with the rest of us!! It is simply that outstanding. If possible, I would give it a six-star!!!

The Jay and Donny are wonderful, human - growing up and growing older. Each has problems, sorrows, successes and grows in unique ways but the character of the two people is what gives this book so much heart. Separation, pain, cancer, traumatic injury, prejudice, college, jobs - life - seem to keep coming at these two men. But they are bound together and are always drawn back together. It's not a nebulous concept to them - unconditional love is the key to their existence. The story continues to evolve and pull you in to their lives - not just their love but what makes them tick. Andrew Grey keeps getting better and better and it's a pleasure to add his books to my growing list of Kindle Favorites. Andrew, this makes #40 of your books on my Kindle. I look forward to #41! Thank you for continuing to share your stories with all of us.

And it just keeps getting better and better. Book #2 in the 7 Days series follows the lives of two teenagers who meet during a summer and follows them into manhood. It is an emotional roller coaster ride through all their hellos and good-byes, so be sure to stock up on the Kleenex. As the author says, it is difficult to find your soul mate so early in life still having to face all the challenges presented to you before emerging as an adult on the other side. Donny and Jason face such a journey. I found this to be an emotional tale of two men who the fates have destined to be together and whose love remains true through the years that they are apart.

Follow the journey of two young men who fall in love, and are lost to each other for reasons you will, have to read about , ( don't want to spoil the story, it is a good one) .
Will love get a second chance ? An enlightening journey over several years, but well worth the trip .
As usual Andrew Grey comes through with a few tears, a few laughs and a heart warming story.
Read it, you will definitely enjoy it !

All of Andrew's stories are sweet and gentle, this story is as well. Unconditional Love takes a trip into Kleenex land, but knowing that it's Andrew's book, everything will come out right at the end, and so it does. While this tale lives in the land of the seven days series, the books aren't connected in any way, and can be read out of order.

What a marvelous story. By the time I was on day 3, there was no putting the book down. Donald and Jason (Jay) meet when Jay is vacationing on the island that is Don's home and they are still in high school. Don's mother is a widow working 2 jobs to raise her son and give him the best life she can. Jay is a poor rich kid - poor because his parents only know how to show their love with material goods. Their friendship is nearly instant, and love grows between the 2 young men until Jay is torn away from the island and Donald, seemingly forever.

Years later, Donald lands a good job in the computer/technology field and Jay is in medical school, their lives following separate roads. And then life throws them some curves - or three.

I love these two men - both of them are so lovely, inside and out. They grow up into beautiful, mature, loving people who take what life throws them and carry on.

A most enjoyable read - highly recommended.

When lovers are forced to separate, they never forget their first love. Years later, they have the opportunity to open their hearts and their lives to each other... And rekindle the perfection they found in each other... The very first day.
This is a fabulous book. Heartbreaking and beautiful. I'm not ashamed to say this book made me cry quite a few times. Heartwarming and life- affirming, just one of the best he has written, and that's saying something because all of his books are great. Read it, you won't be sorry.
