Great book with great information, not really new information for a seasoned teacher, but tons of strategies and a great way to understand the connections of the building blocks. This book was bought for a college course and I found it to be one of my most useful books that I will be using again more in the future. I was able to apply it to my teaching now and years to come.

This book is great for special education teachers, general ed. teachers and parents. It has great tools for assessing a students strengths and weaknesses and offers specific strategies. As a special education teacher who works with mostly students with specific learning disabilities, ADHD and Autism, this book is one of the most valuable that I have purchased. A must have if you work with this population.

This is a very dense and comprehensive resource for professionals involved with children who have learning disabilities and challenging behaviors. It is not a light read. If you wish to update your knowledge of current research on a specific topic or gain a thorough understanding of a particular set of challenging behaviors - this book can satisfy that need.
