This can be well justified as follows: when a learner, as a result of high task value, is motivated to accomplish a task, she/he endeavors to apply his/her cognitive strategies, namely deep and surface learning ones, to process the learning material, relate ideas to each other, and actively construct her/his knowledge.

The field of education is consistently on the top of priority lists of every country in the world. Many techniques, programs and methods are directly applicable across borders. This book presents results from around the globe in selected areas of educational research.
