Generalized yield conditions of the second degree for orthotropic and anisotropic plates are introduced. Special attention is paid to the rise of yield fans
Detailed descriptions are given on the plastic behaviour of homogeneous, reinforced and sandwich plates, and on the rise of various yield-line patterns. Generalized yield conditions of the second degree for orthotropic and anisotropic plates are introduced. Special attention is paid to the rise of yield fans. The concept of yield line planning is also discussed, which may be of practical interest since it indicates the possibilities for preventing the rise of yield fans.
Flow plasticity is a solid mechanics theory that is used to describe the plastic behavior of materials. Flow plasticity theories are characterized by the assumption that a flow rule exists that can be used to determine the amount of plastic deformation in the material. In flow plasticity theories it is assumed that the total strain in a body can be decomposed additively (or multiplicatively) into an elastic part and a plastic part.
And no other book provides such full, self-contained coverage of the theories, analytical solutions, and linear and nonlinear finite element models of plate and shell laminated composite structures. Скачать (djvu, . 3 Mb) Читать.
Theory of plasticity and limit design of plates. In continuum mechanics within specific classes of problems, one- or two-dimensional theories are often simpler to apply than the more complete three-dimensional one. This is, for example, the case of thin bodies, such as plates or shells, which may be studied using appropriate two-dimensionai theories. Within this approach, the reduction of the dimension is traded for a loss of information relative to the motion in the transverse direction.

There are many plasticity books in the market. Some of them are full of derivation, theory, but no content on algorithm methods. Another extremes are more or less cookbooks that do not contain sufficient background. I think this book is in the exact right balance. It deals with fundamentals of plasticity as well as with numerical implementations and contains examples with computer program listings. Ideal as a reference book for anybody in the field of FE simulations for forming processes.
