He patiently explains that the internal security of the country mitigates against both its demise or any significant change. Same for the Eastern bloc. It seems that Dibb was a bit off on that one. The rest of the book is similarly flawed. The Australian also regularly sidetracks into condemnations of the USA, which he apparently hates, even thought the attacks on America are not at all relevant to the subject.
