Gerd Albrecht (19 July 1935 – 2 February 2014) was a German conductor. Albrecht was born in Essen, the son of the musicologist Hans Albrecht (1902-1961). He studied music in Kiel and in Hamburg, where his teachers included Wilhelm Brückner-Rüggeberg. He was a first-prize winner at the International Besançon Competition for Young Conductors at age 22. His first post was as a repetiteur at the Stuttgart State Opera

Torster, Gerd Baumeister, Johannes Dr. Däubler. Abstract The purpose of the current investigation was to develop an optimized balance between creep resistance and LCF-strength of U 720 LI, a high-strength nickel-base superalloy. The creep behavior of the near α Ti alloy IMI 834 was investigated in the temperature regime around 600°C, comparing a fully lamellar and two bi-modal microstructures consisting of 15 and 40 vo.(More).

by Gerd Lütjering (Author), James C. Williams (Author). A excellent book with well-organized, comprehensive and very current knowledges on every major aspects of Ti science and engineering. ISBN-13: 978-3540713975. Good for scientists and engineers of related fields.

These Proceedings of the 10th World Conference on Titanium will be again a valuable sourcebook for scientists, engineers, and students. The 10th World Conference on Titanium will cover all aspects of titanium including the complete production route from the ore to the finished products, all application areas, new alloys, advanced materials, and microstructure/property evaluation. With this broad scope, the conference follows the intention of all previous titanium conferences, to bring together for one week the worldwide titanium community to present and discuss all new aspects in the area of titanium. The participation of the seven major titanium countries (USA, CIS, Japan, UK, France, China, and Germany) in the International Organizing Committee (IOC) guarantees extensive coverage of all new interesting areas in research, development, and application of titanium.
