I was excited to see the 2nd edition of this book but after purchasing I was disappointed to see that the information in most cases not updated from the 1st edition written in 2003. Considering that the 2003 version was based on 1998-2001 information, it's hard to justify paying for 16-20 year old information. Technology changes a lot in a decade let alone two decades. Don't expect to be able to design anything other than hobby circuits with the information here. They claim to have added MOS circuits in the new edition but the circuits they added were not circa 2009 but more like 1995-2003. The treatment of the new circuits is somewhat light and narrow in scope. They also introduce new typos in this edition that I do not see in the old edition which make their equations useless and confusing for anyone who is not already an expert in the subject matter.

If you look into this book carefully and solve every problems, you will find several wrong descriptions. For example, the answer for SFDR calculation example includes a rudimentary mistake. Yes, you should not always believe in everything written in a textbook as Dr. Egan mentioned. But it is really waste of time to read an untrustworthy textbook. I hope all would be corrected in next edition.
Descriptions about PLL, AGC, demodulator, ADC, and DAC are missed in this book.
