The Story of Weight W. .I was never a huge fan of weight watchers, until I read this book. I might not even be a fan of the current weight watcher industry, because they have deviated from their original roots so much. The tale of Jean nidetch is a very inspiring tale. She's a talker, and not afraid to use the word fat. That word has such a stigma, and it's used even less today because I was never a huge fan of weight watchers, until I read this book.

Mrs. Nidetch, who had been president in its early years, was in charge of public relations until 1984, traveling widely and making public appearances for Weight Watchers International, one of the world’s most successful weight-loss businesses. I don’t really remember, but I’m positive that whenever I cried, my mother gave me something to eat, she wrote.

Book 1 of The Watchers Series. The clouds, which had been trailing us dolefully since our entry into North Carolina, thickened, hurrying us along as the trees gave way to the first row of brick buildings of the deserted downtown. I looked at the cheerfully quaint buildings, with their cheerfully quaint awnings as we passed and was suddenly glad for the clouds. They were perfectly dark, a contrast to the frightening cheerfulness of the awnings and the buildings.

This is all the meetings rolled into one. It examines our early facinations with food. You learn how to start loving yourself and how you should take better care of yourself. As women, we tend to put ourselves in last place. Everyone else comes first in our lives and us second, third, fith, etc. Time to become a little bit more selfish when it comes to taking care of ourselves. Why? I still use the motto in the book: ' If you don't take care of yourself, you won't be around to take care of others'. Think about that. This book is truly a gift to share with others. Just like my new beverage of choice that replaced my morning brew. Its called s oyfee and taste so wonderful with no caffeine or acids. Organic and made from soya! Bye bye acid stomach and hello healthy tummy! Google it under "acid free coffee"

This is the best book on losing weight ever written. My $1.25 paperback is in shreds, but I still get it out to be inspired about losing the 10 pounds I seem to gain every two years. The diet is simple, the stories absolutely real and inspirational, and Jean a delightful writer. Bless you, Jean Nidetch.
