After reading some of the posted reviews I felt I should comment on my actual results using this program. First, I was one of the volunteer Beta testers of this program in May of last year. I was not paid for my participation and have no economic interest in this book or any of Jorge Cruise's other operations. I did this for myself. It is also interesting to note that only 2 or 3 people in my group dropped out over the course of 8 weeks. I think this is due to seeing results as early as 2 to 3 weeks in.

I had tried several diets/programs and none had any lasting effect or eliminated the 'belly fat' I had accumulated. I was not overly fat, but I carried at least 10lbs of fat on my waist and belly. My cholesterol was high, I was borderline hypertensive and had no stamina. I'll also tell you that this program is not easy. It will take work and dedication. It takes time to plan your diet and I was continually sore for the almost the entire 8 weeks. I worked my [...] off. You get out of the program what you put in. My results after 8 weeks on the diet and exercise were a loss of 13 lbs, 5 inches from my waist (34 before and 29 now) a 100 point drop in my total cholesterol (now around 170 without drugs). My blood pressure is now normal and have more stamina than I have had in years. If you want graphic results my pictures are on the 12 second sequence site.

Two suggestions. The morning 20 minute cardio before breakfast is key. In my opinion it is one of the best ways to eliminate belly fat. The 3hr diet kept my metabolism steady and I avoided peaks and valleys. Plan your meals in advance and it helps to get buy in from family. The exercises provide cardio workout if you keep a fast pace and complete the routine within 35 to 40 minutes. Sometimes the gym was crowded and I ended up doing 20 minutes of fast walking on the treadmill to supplement. Also, the exercises continually vary from week to week to keep your muscle groups from getting used to any one exercise. This is different from previous super slow programs and the volunteers offered feedback to Jorge and his staff to fine tune some of these.

It is almost a year later and I am maintaining my weight and health. This is not just a program but a lifestyle change that has improved the quality of my life. It is well thought out and certainly worth a try if you were like me and have that nagging belly fat that previous diet/exercise programs could not eliminate.

If you are seriously ready to get off your [...] and do something this is great guide to improving your total health.

I started this program 1 1/2 weeks ago. Already I have experienced a 2 inch loss around my waist and 7 lbs of fat gone from my body. The workouts, while intense, only last 20 minutes. I can do that twice a week and the payoff is huge. My strength has increased easily by 50% and I have more energy than I know what to do with. I was sidelined for almost 3 years due to a sciatica related condition that seriously compromised my left leg and hip. I could not do any exercise that put pressure on the left hip and leg. I tried this program cautiously this month. Apparently I have finally healed and this program has given back to me the strength that I had lost during that 3 year period. My stability and balance are back to normal!

I have modified certain exercises to accommodate my special needs, but I don't think those modifications compromised the results enough to worry about.

By the way, I am seriously overweight and am a senior citizen. If I can do this program, so can a lot of other people who might think otherwise. Try it for a week or two....you might be amazed too.

Its been two weeks i have stuck to the diet plan and excercise regimen and i am completely satisfied with the results. I do a 45 minutes of cardio each morning, 12 second sequence excercise on Mondays and Thursdays and follow Protien 40% Carb 40% and Fat 20% recommendation . I am about to move from being obese to overweight and have lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks. my waistline has shrunk by one size and i am motivated to follow the complete 8 weeks program. His excercises are challenging and i find it hard to complete the complete set in 20 minutes as he has recommended. I do the best i can and at the end of the day i feel my body muscles pain, but the pain is good.

I would however caution everyone on his supplements. His Protien shakes are delicious but are very expensive. 28 servings cost 50 USD. This is crazy. I could order over 75 servings of good Whey protien from BodyBuilding.com for the same amount. Similarly the other products and supplements that he recommends in his books are very overpriced. I wouldnt order them at this price even if i was making millions because they are not worth the money i would put in.

Good luck , he has a good regimen and i would speak high of its success on account of my own. Stay away from his products if you dont want your valet to go light during these bad econo

The 12 second sequence is excellent to help lose weight and build muscle with very little effort. Only have to lift weights twice a week for about 20 minutes each day. My son also is using it and he says he has developed more muscle and feels better than ever.

I found this book and the exercises to be a excellent addition to my workout regimen.it only takes minutes a day to complete and the written inspirational messages area very motivational

Somehow I missed this when I ordered the DVD-it is only the first week of exercises on the DVD - so only 2 full workouts - the rest are in the book, but I like to follow along with visuals & they are not on the DVD-but it was definitely my error. Instead, I purchased the VIP plan on the website & this gave me the entire 8 weeks of exercises-more $$$$, but it's the whole workout.

I read other reviews that talked about getting the book instead of the video, so I did. After a couple of weeks, I actually saw some results. I did cardio 5 days a week for 2 months straight and felt better before this, but didn't see any difference. After doing 12 second sequence 2-3 times a week (along with a cardio warmup), I'm starting to get my figure back! Yahoo!
