A acupuncturist brought up fibromyalgia because of pain I was experiencing. I went in with a list of tests (from here) to prove I had Hashi’s and hypo. I had all the pain and tenderness mentioned above and the weakness, brain fog, tiredness, etc. I started seeing a rheumatologist who declared I needed sleep and put me on 3-4 medications which I now can’t get off of. Good solid easy read with really good practical advice especially for the newly diagnosed. It's older so the research is a bit outdated but the practical living helps are absolutely relevant.

This book is very good to read. It help me understand what Ihave and what I was going through. When I was having these bad painsin my body, I went to the doctor and they said it was just my brain and I'm not having this real pain like I was feeling. Later on another doctor diagnoses me with fibromyalgia. I had all the symtoms. Thank GOD for this book. This really helped me. And I now It can help you.

Some material now dated, but well researched. A useful resource for FMS sufferers. A good entry level discussion on a still not well understood condition.
