Okay, first and foremost, I've only recently started this even though I purchased it last year. I cannot attest to the benefits of the stomach program just yet, but I can attest to the one benefit this gave me that weeks of physical therapy did not: it fixed my shoulder subluxation! I had limited mobility in my shoulder...I couldn't even raise my arms higher than my shoulder without it feeling like one of my kids was sitting on it. Not even behind my head. If I forced it, I was destined to have continued pain and swelling for the rest of the day. On the days that pain was tolerable, it was still a constant ache that I had grown accustomed to and began to ignore as best I could. Seven months...seven whole months of this misery. I picked up this book one day after finding it again and decided to start on the regimen for 1-4 days. The first exercise was an underarm tightener. I made it through 3 times (out of the 25 reps I was supposed to do) before the pain really became unbearable. So I didn't continue with the other exercises.

On my way to work I realized that the dull constant ache in my shoulder was gone. I called my husband and told him about it and the exercise. He said to try my mobility when I got to work. I did and guess what? My arm went all the way up! No pain or anything. It went to the side and it went back. I only have one range of motion I still can't do and that is probably more so due to the tightness of not being able to move it in certain directions for so long than anything else. This was a week ago. I am still pain free and I have begun the entire program in this book.

My muscles feel looser and more relaxed. I feel longer or more stretched, whether I'm sitting at my desk or walking about. I am more aware about the movements I make on a daily basis. I'll update again after my 30 days on the results! I'm going to scoop up the other quick callanetics books. I can't stop singing its praises. No more physical therapy for me!
