This is one of the oldest books I've ever been assigned to read as a student. However, the chapters are generally interesting and applicable to everyday circumstances. I found the explanations and examples very useful. Concepts or theories that might have been difficult to grasp were clarified in a way that made them comprehensible. Group process may not be a topic of interest for the general public, but it is definitely one that could help all of us navigate our world more successfully. I recommend this as a good foundational textbook for students of group process.

This book is a little disorganized, but gets the point across. Hopefully your time with it will be brief.
