Hans de Beer's Little Polar Bear books enjoy great international success. It is about two strange animals not knowing each other. The brave hare and the bear bumped into each other and decided to be friends

Hans de Beer's Little Polar Bear books enjoy great international success. The brave hare and the bear bumped into each other and decided to be friends. One day the brave little hare fell into a hole with a lot of snow. When the bear saw the hare in the hole the bear was helping the hare to get out of the hole. They helped each other in difficult occasions. I didn't really like this story because it doesn't give enough information, also because it's not interesting not enough details and not entertaining. The words were to easy to read. So, I recommend this book to little kids.

Awesome little book, touching story my 1st grader loves to read. This was part of a Christmas gift he got along with a stuffed polar bear.

Other "Little Polar Bear Adventures" by de Beer are Ahoy There, Little Polar Bear; Little Polar Bear Finds a Friend; Little Polar Bear and the Brave Little Hare; Little Polar Bear and the Husky Pup; Little Polar Bear and the Big Balloon; Little Polar Bear and the Reindeer; and Little Polar Bear and the Whales. Awesome little book, touching story my 1st grader loves to read.

Little Bear thought: I will jump from a high spot, up into the sky, and fly up, up, up. I will be flying too fast to look at things, so I will shut my eyes. So Little Bear climbed to the top of a little hill, and climbed to the top of a little tree, a very little tree on the little hill, and shut his eyes and jumped. Down, down he came, and down the hill he rolled. Then he sat up and looked around.

Lars the polar bear teases his friend Hugo the hare for being afraid of everything, until the day they get lost in the snow.?

An adult might find the storylines a bit repetitive but my 3 year old loves all of the Lars books. We got her some at xmas and she was so pleased that we bought all the others for her birthday 5 months later and she wants them read to her over and over. She even 'reads' them to her younger brother!
