Description

Great read for true stories of crime and how the detectives solved the crimes. If you enjoy Crimes, mysteries, adventure, etc You should read this. Gill Harvey tells each case like a normal novel: dialogue, plot, climax, and more.

Great read for true stories of crime and how the detectives solved the crimes. What I like most is almost everyone of the stories was dated way in the past. Was great to hear stories about older times.

I would recomend it cause it is like a history book for people. It shows how investigators used to solve crimes before all the technological inventions. For people who are interested in criminal minds,it has 10 true stories about crimesranging from murder to forgery. Is how they solve them on t.v. the same as in real life? The book will show you how it is or isn't.

I would recommend this book to others. This book is both entertaining and informative. Each chapter talks about dangerous criminals, and how they were caught. You also get to read about the first detectives and how the job was created. This book is very interesting. Mystery lovers, you will love this book!

The man of many disguises,Jean Francoi. He claimed (falsly) that he was captain in the army but finally he got caught and got arrested. Then finally he got in jail then he snuck out and got caught and snuck again then became the dectective in the 19th century.
