If you are looking for a condensed version of The Lorax, this is NOT it. It does not even mention recycling or saving the trees. The Lorax is just a character

This is an easy book to read and is not too long. It has 32 pages with just a sentence or two on each page. Cute illustrations with Barb-a-loots, truffula trees, and the adorable Lorax! We plan to make truffula trees with pipe cleaners and Poms to put in green play-doh!

Glossy paperpack book. Slightly above my Kindergarten student's reading level, but we knew it would be a stretch.

Same quality I have purchased at both Target and Barnes & Noble but for slightly cheaper.

Step into Reading books are great for baby/toddlers (and for parents because they are short and fun); hold there very short attention spans. Personal favorite of mine for movies so this book does a good job of condensing the story.

Very easy read.

love the book but really, this is not the right one to use for teaching one to read...words don't have pattern or make sense---I am pretty sure the AR test is avail for this one

These 'step up to reading books' are terrific. My (not yet) 2 year old granddaughter waits for me to come so that we can sit and read these books. She is actually picking up words from these books and loves to "pretend" to read them herself. Great choice!
This is a great book for my students and will assist in our summer learnng for students who need help in reading. It is a fun and appealing book for children.
