Mick Inkpen (born 1952) is an English author and illustrator of children's books, best known for his creations Kipper the Dog and Wibbly Pig. Inkpen was born in Romford, Essex, England in 1952. He is a friend of Nick Butterworth, who also grew up in Romford, and they collaborated on the 1990 "Wonderful Earth".
