She glared at her enemies through red demon eyes. Avalon is mine, you cannot stop me!. Lucinda stepped forward. You have used the dream magic of Avalon. The Fairy Queen raised her hands and another ghostly form stepped from the spirit pack. It was not a wolf, but a black cat with purple wings sparkling along her back. The demon recoiled as the cat padded forward. Bonded, the cat said. We can be together again.

Avalon: Web of Magic Book 12, Full Circle by Rachel Roberts

Avalon Needs a Hero! It started with a quest to find the home of all magic: Avalon.

It may end in darkness.

Three girls, Emily, Adriane, and Kara, their fates set long ago, were to become mages. They were to discover the secrets of Avalon and save their animal friends.

They failed.

Now, the Gates of Avalon are locked, beloved friends are doomed, and the Dark Sorceress reigns supreme.

There may be one final chance to fulfill their destiny. But it will take the strength of a warrior, the fire of a blazing star, and the heart of a healer.

The mages must put everything they love on the line―and be prepared to sacrifice all―as the final battle for Avalon begins!

This book was delivered quickly and safely and I was so excited to finish the beloved series from my teens. And I especially liked the added stuff in the back and the added illustrations.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book, as well as the rest of the Avalon series. This might even be the last book of the series, which makes me kind of sad. I couldn't name my favorite thing about 'Full Circle', because all of it was exciting! Of course, the book was great, as the rest of the series has been, but I did notice a couple of things. Example: When the first part of the Avalon series came out (it was being published by CDS books), not only was it in two series (Avalon Web of Magic and Avalon Quest for Magic), but it didn't have any pictures, which left everything to be imagined, but some of the magical animals had a funny way of talking, instead of just speaking 'normal english'. Personally, I liked having no pictures which left me room to imagine the characters however I chose. I also liked the way that those magical animals spoke. (ie. the d'flys and some of the ones from Aldenmore. The mages' bondeds spoke just fine, which was good as they spoke alot more than the others.) I think this made those who spoke the way they did a bit funnier. But this is all probably because I started with the CDS published books, but when they stopped at 'Dark Mage', now the elventh book out of twelve, I had to finish with two books to go with the new publishers, Seven Seas. I have nothing against the illistrator or the publishers, but I have to admit that I think the other covers suited the books a little better, and the new pictures within the books are a bit distracting and make the characters appear unreal.
Of coures not everyone will agree with me, which is fine! But I hope everyone who reads these books will enjoy them. I'd recommend these to people who like fantasy-adventure stories with a little mystery and humor mixed in.

I started reading this series when it first came out. 2001, if I remember correctly. I'd always loved it; I can't even believe how much I cried when I read Trial By Fire. When the series started publishing again after being on hiatus, I was honestly scared that I wouldn't love Dark Mage and Full Circle like I'd loved the others. Be it because the writing and story might suffer due to the hiatus, or because I myself had changed.

But let me say, they surpassed all expectations. I sobbed over Full Circle like I hadn't over a book in years. Yeah, nostalgia is a factor, but I think what I'm trying to say is that if you started the series a long time ago, like I did, you will not be disappointed. The last couple of books take a surprising turn for the Darker and Edgier that really works, especially if, like me, you've grown up a bit since starting the series.

Overall, Full Circle has actually come to be my favorite book in the series, finally replacing Cry of the Wolf.
My nine year old can't get enough of this series!! She's on book 7 and is begging me to get the rest of the series for her so she won't have to pause between books. A book series that can inspire reading like Avalon: Web of Magic does deserves far more than 5 stars!!
