Description

Bernie Zubrowski (Author), Roy Doty (Illustrator). Messing Around With Drinking Straw Construction (Children's Museum Activity Book).

Bernie Zubrowski (Author), Roy Doty (Illustrator). Wheels at Work: Building and Experimenting With Models of Machines (Boston Children's Museum Activity Book).

Raceways: Having Fun With Balls and Tracks (Boston Children's Museum Activity Book). Since most models have more than one easily adjusted variation, this book is great vacation-time fun for mechanically minded young people. An adult might need to help with hammering a hole in one model and puncturing holes (in soft materials) in others, giving parents and children an opportunity to explore simple physics together. An invaluable resource book. Margaret M. Hagel, Norfolk Public Library System, Va.

Recommended by a good friend and children's librarian. This is for the bookshelf. My grandson is due any day now, and his cousin, also a boy will be born in another month. If these babies are like their Dads were, this book will be perfect!

Purchased the book for my classroom. Waiting to see if it will be a good reference for the student projects. It seems a little elementary but I think that is because of the illustrations.
