The World's Most Magnific. has been added to your Cart. We all like the pictures in the book. My children always point out where the vacuum is hiding. I enjoy the art because it does not look like the work of a professional illustrator

The World's Most Magnific. I enjoy the art because it does not look like the work of a professional illustrator. The author and artist, Miz Grizz, strikes me as someone who wrote and drew this story for their own child that loves vacuums and I admire that. My 7 year old loves vacuums, loves this story and even took this book to school to read for his first grade class. My 5 year old does not like vacuums but loves the silly story.

The most common upright vacuum cleaners use a drive-belt powered by the suction motor to rotate the brush-roll

The most common upright vacuum cleaners use a drive-belt powered by the suction motor to rotate the brush-roll. In these cleaners, the suction is provided via a large motor, while the brushroll is powered by a separate, smaller motor, which does not create any suction. In December 2009, Neato Robotics launched the world's first robotic vacuum cleaner which uses a rotating laser-based range-finder (a form of lidar) to scan and map its surrounding. It uses this map to clean the floor methodically, even if it requires the robot to return to its base multiple times to recharge itself.

The first feasible vacuum cleaner was invented in Britain. Hubert Cecil Booth is widely regarded as the first engineer to use suction instead of blowing to remove dirt and dust from floors. His Puffing Billy created suction by pumping air through cloth. Booth’s design was powered by a horse-drawn combustion engine, while a similar device created by David T. Kenney in America utilised steam power. Both models required at least two people to operate them. In 1908, a store cleaner in Ohio invented the world’s first portable electric vacuum cleaner. The Electric Suction Sweeper utilised an electric fan to create suction, and a pillowcase to collect dirt and dust. · Регистрация · Официальный сайт · Инвестиции · Доходный маркетинг · Содействие в подборе финансовых услуг/организаций

This is not my favorite children's book to read because it's predictable but I'm not 7 years old and love vacuums. My children (boy 7, girl 5) love the silliness of the story and how the first letter on every page has been made into a little picture. So the "B" that begins the words on page 10 looks like a piece of chocolate cake.

It is ridiculous how much my 3 year old loves this book. He likes to discuss what is happening in the little yellow house on the corner of 6th and Poplar Street. And the vacuum hiding around the house gets him so excited. If your child loves vacuums, I definitely recommend this as an extension if that interest. It is fun (although a tad spooky - for me, not my son).

My son requested a book about a vacuum cleaner and we found this one. The drawings are done with marker and colored pencil (I think) in the style of an older child drawing them, which gives the book a charming homemade quality. The story is simple: a vacuum cleaner salesman sells a vacuum cleaner that will pick up anything, it cleans great but soon things and people disappear until the brother is the only one left; he sees the vacuum cleaner coming after him, he unplugs it, unzips it, and lets his family out. This book is just right for a five and three-year-old; slightly scary, but not too much since everything is okay in the end. They've requested to read it again and again. There is one typo which I find annoying, but overall just right if you want a book about a vacuum cleaner for your kids. Just one caveat: If your kids are scared of the vacuum cleaner "eating" things, this might feed that fear.

I bought this book for my 3 and 5 year old boys, but my older children love it too. It's one of the few children's books I can get my 12 year old to read to her younger siblings without bribery. The drawings are sweet and entertaining. I love how the first letter on each page is cleverly made into a character pertaining to the action on that page. The story is great and done in such a way as to not scare the little ones. I have recommended this book to all my family and friends.

We bought this for 2 year old son who is oppessed with vacuum cleaners. After giving him the book, my husband and I took turns reading this book to him at least 17 times the first night. Perfect for anyone who has vacuum oppessed child.
