I bought this along with about 10 other workbooks for my son who will be turning 4 in a week. Most of the workbooks didn't hold his attention more than two or three pages. However he finished almost all of this the first day and woke me up early the second day so he could finish it. He enjoyed the puzzles as well as the stickers and completion chart. Now he is asking to do it again. I highly recommend this as a first workbook.

Some of the puzzles require knowledge of the letter sounds and being able to write the letters individually, but it is not writing intensive. I had to walk him through the first couple of mazes, but he caught on quickly.

My 3.5 year old finished 80% of this in 2 hours. It was far too simple to be listed as K level. There were also very few mazes and since the book is titled Puzzles and Mazes it was overall a huge disappointment. Not at all as the title describes!

This is a nice workbook for home-based support of very beginning readers. It includes some fun, easy puzzles that allow the child to work with letters and letter sounds without being intimidated by the prospect of reading. Very simple puzzles. In my opinion, it would be most appropriate for the average 4 year-old child, but older children who have not had experience with the alphabet on a regular basis would also benefit.

My son loves these mazes. He LOVES them. Good mixture of things to do.

Cute book, fun puzzles. Kiddo has zero interest in school books in the summer, but that's the fault of the sun and the pool toys, not this book.

Bought for my granddaughter who loves mazes.
this more pre-school, my child is not challenged and he doesn't like it
