Keep your eyes wide open because there's trouble ahead - and what fine trouble it is! Featuring more than 180 illustrations, the best of the comic book world's bad girls come into view in this full-color tribute to the smokin' hot women who brought glamour - and menace - to oh-so-graphic tales of rousing (or should that be arousing?) adventure. As Jessica Rabbit said "I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way." Amen, sister.

One of many interests for most of my life has been fantasy art. This is why I have purchased numerous fantasy art collection books and calendars by Boris and Doris Vallejo, as well as several comic book collections of both heroes and villains, and good girls and bad girls. This 64 page volume (Dangerous Curves -Comic Buyer's guide group) has more than fifty beautiful full color illustrations with a short bio on each of these ladies. Men have always been attracted to women who may be a little dangerous because they are usually also attractive and erotic looking. Many are also creatures who you are free to look at, but never touch because they are too dangerous.

The following are just a few of the many bad but beautiful sexy girls in this collection: Emma Frost, The White Queen, Enchantress, Cat woman, Viper, Vampirella, Lilith, Lady Death, Killer Frost, Electra, Glorith, Sin, Black Widow, Tara Chace, Valkyrie, Domino, Thundra, Fury, Red Sonja, Knock out and Angela.

In conclusion, if you love comics and fantasy art with bad sexy looking women, you may want to check out this fully illustrated issue.

This started out to be just like those lists that always pop up, (especially on web sites that are trying to catch your eyes), listing the top x number of something or others. That's O.K., and this book would be like a really good version of one of those lists.

But this actually turned out to be a bit more than that. Unlike the earlier companion volume to this book that focused on the sexiest characters, (100 Sexiest Women in Comics (Comics Buyer's Guide)),this book had more background and history for the featured bad girls. There were also a lot of reproduced covers showcasing the guest bad girl, and that helped put them into context and was interesting in its own right.

It's hard to tell from just the brief sample on the Amazon site, but it does turn out that some of these drawings are pretty dated and old school. This is not a collection just of slick modern works, and it is true that some of the illustrations look like they were copied out of an old Sunday comics section of a newspaper. But, as I got deeper into the book I began to see this as a virtue. It was interesting to see how some of the longer lasting characters have changed over the years. It was maybe even more interesting to see how the drawing styles for comics generally have changed over the years. It was especially interesting to realize that the oldest characters, say Dragon Lady from "Terry and the Pirates", could be dangerous and powerful looking even in the old-fashioned drawing style.

Whether you want to pay for the list is a question for you to decide. But, it is fun to wander through this book to see how many of the characters you know, whether they look like you remember, whether the drawing the author has chosen is a fair representation of the character, and so on. And if you are so inclined you can judge the author's judgments and relist these bad girls in your own preferred order.

I liked this and amused myself for an hour after downloading it as a kindleunlimited freebie. That works for me.
