Happy to read a history of my home town. A little disappointed that the content was so focused on Italian and Polish residents. I guess that focus was influenced by the ethnicity of the authors. Suggest that the quality of the binding be improved. Pages began falling out almost immediately.

Great Book. Having taken part in the Calumet City(SIN CITY)era as a bill collector, on the STRIP, for a utility company gave me some additional insight as to the workings of the Boys in the southside suburbs of Chicago.

Chicago Heights very interesting. Good photos of the old city. Liked remarks about what could be seen in the background as one might have missed it otherwise.
