Yes, there is a pamphlet by George Buchanan in here, but the intro is far more interesting. The intro was written by a historian who pulled together a huge amount of detail regarding pre-nineteenth century anti-slavery movements. I knew there had been some, but I was surprised at how many and even more surprised at where some anti-slavery societies were located. Worth the read. If only as a stepping stone for further study.

This ebook is free, but as it is of important interest, I only want to make the consumer aware that Buchanan's oration against the ills of slavery does not begin until location 995 of this edition, or at 81% of the volume. What comes prior, however, is most certainly not without great interest on the subject and is in no way negligible. Also, the formatting seems perfectly fine. Enjoy.
