Alan Brinkley thank you for writing this wonderful book that has been a curse and a blessing this past year, APUSH forever amirite. Oct 04, 2014 Lizbeth rated it it was amazing. i’ve taken notes for the first two and for the last two chapters i think that constitutes read enough (also i’m tired of seeing it in my currently reading thing). Sep 17, 2015 Anna rated it it was amazing. Not a conventional book I would ever want to read or ever would think about reading again, but I did read it. I don't know if history in general is growing on me or if it is a form of stockholm syndrome, but I did enjoy this book.
