This textbook is not only written in a conversational tone which holds the reader's attention, but it brings in art, personalities of historical figures, and other tidbits to enhance a student's learning experience. The illustrations used are fantastic and can spur students to delve further into many subjects. History should be exciting as evidenced by this book!

I have to say I didn't enjoy this book in certain areas. It gives you a few examples of what may have happened and what may have influenced the spread of Christianity. I don't find that to be accurate when it seems the author is trying to lead you down a certain path instead of giving you the evidence

Bought this for my Humanities I class. It has helped me understand some of the events we talk about in class and the geography of the regions we're studying.

I first thought when I opened it up that it was a teenagers textbook. It had hearts and pink writing all over it. I was looking for something more professional and clean. I had to transfer it to another three ringed binder just to open it up. The binder it was in was broken and I was afraid I would rip some of the pages just turning them.

I took an online class that had this for the text and easily navigated through the chapters. Well formatted book.

It's alright as far as textbooks are concerned. I'm not particularly interested in the topics covered, so I can't say much about the content.

Too much of the editors' personal beliefs are reflected in this extremely shallow and disappointing book. I tossed the book in the trash after looking through it, which is something that I'd never done before with a book.
Bought for school. Was in good condition.
