Have enjoyed looking through it and have many ideas under consideration - if directions are as good as the mystery quilt directions, I will LOVE IT!

I have Rita Fishel's mystery quilts book, and it is great. That's why I bought her most recent book - Everyday Quilts. This book doesn't compare, so don't wast your money.

I love this book!! I own Rita's other book, Mystery Quilts, as well. I think this new book offers even better patterns and instructions than Mystery Quilts (although I highly recommend both books). Rita's writing style is friendly, patient and straight forward. She makes the quilting process accessible even to very beginner quilters. The book contains useful illustrations and step-by-step explanations that guarantee a great outcome for each pattern attempted. I have completed six quilts from the Mystery Quilts book, all beautiful and successful. I also have completed one of the patterns from Everyday Quilts. It has become my new favorite quilt - prominently displayed on my bed and frequently complimented by visitors. I look forward to Rita's next book!!!

I've made quilts from both of Rita's books, and I love them all! The layout, clear instructions and well thought out diagrams in Everyday Quilts makes it easy to understand, even for those with limited quilting experience (I'm about to embark on my fourth ever quilt, which will be made using this book as a guide!)

There's a great variety of quilts in here, with a range of complexity to help develop those skills.
I have attended classes taught by Rita in different venues. Her patterns, including those in her latest book, Everyday Quilts, are easy and very do-able.
Rita delivers easy to understand directions in her latest book. The quilts can be done in a short period of time. This comes in quite handy when one decides at the last minute to do one as a gift.
I have both Everyday Quilts as well as Mystery Quilts in my library. I would highly recommend both books to the quilt enthusiast
