Not Atkins. And stupid. Consisting of blank pages headed with "How are you doing on your diet today?" Dr. Atkins strenuously rejected the idea of a diet, as that implied a temporary restriction until goal reached. His is a lifetime design for eating healthily.
Next, asking how someone is doing sets them up for failure. Not worth the paper it is printed on. Buy your own notebook and track your own carbs.
To do Atkins successfully, go back to the original Atkins '72. The latest versions and the website are pushing products in the stores and allowimg way too many carbs in order to do so. As a result, people aren't seeing results.

I do NOT like record keeping at any time and the format of this workbook makes it ez for me to record my food intake and activities as I work toward my goal of losing 100 lbs. I have lost 15 lbs since the first of this year so it may take longer than one calendar year but that is OK. It took me 6 years to pack the weight on so it it takes 2 years to get it off I'll be happy. This book will definitely help me do it.

I have found this to be an invaluable tool in my weight loss efforts on the Atkins program. As I have had a lot of weight to lose, this is my 3rd workbook, This book explains the program, it has 16 weeks for daily meal/carb tracking and a page where you also review your day's efforts with encouraging words, tips and an Atkins program FYI, in the back pages there is a food/carb counter, 3-4 blank pages for personal notes. This one book offers a lot. Highly recommend it for those on the Atkins program.

Very good! It has made the difference in me giving-up on writing down the foods eaten, & being successful in journaling through my diet. Before using this I would make little sheets on paper or in a booklet; but they were soooo much hassle to make, that I would eventually give-up. In this journal/food diary there are lots of helps plus a listing of common foods. Try it, hope it helps you as much as it has me! P.S. 45 pounds gone!

I wanted to keep track of the foods I eat so I can see where I am "making mistakes" so I was doing it online. But I was always losing the data or not able to enter data I wanted. I saw this workbook and wondered if it had enough pages to track my foods on a daily basis. It has 4 months (16 weeks) worth of daily pages, with tips on every page, PLUS a list of the allowed foods. It's great! I love it. It has helped me see where I can cut down on certain foods even more. Taking it on vacation with me!!! Highly recommend... will probably get another one once this one is filled out!!!

This is a great help when you are starting induction. Includes pages for each day and each meal, plus weekly updates for weight and measurements. Success stories are interspersed throughout the book. If you have the Atkins app, you don't really need this book. I use it mostly for keeping track of weight and inches.

I never write product reviews even though I use them all the time to make buying decisions. This journal is absolutely fantastic and I wanted to share my excitement. If you are doing Atkins this is a hugely helpful tool that will keep you honest, help you keep track of your net carbs, and is easier to use than the app, for me anyway. I think they could work together well but for me it's easier to just grab my pen real quick and jot down what I ate versus searching in the app and logging food. I keep it in my purse so I always have it with me.
In case you haven't heard: A cardiologist/research/professor at Stanford had his students do a long study comparing the results of all the different diets used in the last 40/50 years. (Nutri-System, Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Atkins, Food Addiction, etc , etc, etc. Compared everything. Which diet had most weight lost, which one kept the weight off the longest, which ones gave the best numbers...blood pressure, insulin , cholesterol, thyroid, healthiest , etc, etc. . In a Stanford video taped lecture to report his findings, this cardiologist revealed the truth in complete personal amazement that Atkins clearly came out on top. But that jives with the media over the last year that it has become apparent that fat isn't the bad guy it's been made out to be for the last 60 years, (looking at the European, "Mediteranian diet"). It's the combination of fat with sugar (& flour) that 's the killer. Atkins was the only low carb diet of them all and no one on it had heart problems. The inventor died of a heart problem but it was not fat ladened veins. It was a defect in his heart or something not diet related.
