This study aid features an innovative method of content organization. It uses a checklist format to lead students through questions they need to ask to fully evaluate the legal problem they are trying to solve. It also synthesizes the material in a way that most students are unable to do on their own, and assembles the different issues, presenting a clear guide to procedural analysis that students can draw upon when writing their exams. Other study aids provide sample problems, but none offer the systematic approach to problem solving found in this book combined with concise analytical summaries of the leading issues in tort law.

This book is great for the intentional torts, it is not so great for everything else. I was disappointed after getting past the intentional torts section to find that the remaining content of the book was very lacking on the topics studies in the remainder of my Torts class. So, now I'm looking for a better supplement because the 2nd half of this book is unfortunately lacking. In order to not fully discredit the book, it could just be my torts class. I'd encourage future buyers to compare the table of contents with your class syllabus to make sure the content aligns with your studies.

Typos on nearly every page. Sometimes you can't even tell if the author was trying to write a full sentence or was just jotting down notes. Luckily I am using this book just for review, so I know the concepts being discussed are correct. Given how many grammatical errors there are, it wouldn't be unreasonable to start questioning the author's credibility. It's difficult to believe a law supplement book is any good when there are rampant typos.

Overall a disappointment and huge disparity from the Acing Contracts book which I think is great (and typo free)

Do better, West.

This is a great supplement for the 1L year. All of the "Acing" books are well written, concise, and matter of fact. The entire series follows along with the general curriculum of classes (keep in mind that every professor teaches in the order he/she feels is best). This Torts edition is no exception, it is not exact to the book my professor teaches, but it is a solid supplement to the themes and material taught in the course.

So many typos it is unreal. I am shocked that the spelling and grammatical errors were never caught. Overall the book did help.
Good supplement book. It is not complete, but it clears things up and gives you something to base your class notes off of
