I love this book. If you happen to be taking an Evidence course taught by any of the authors, get this book and use it instead of your textbook (Which, if it's anything like the average Evidence casebook, reads like your prof decided to drop acid and start editing a casebook). This book eliminates all ball hiding. It also progresses in a logical fashion so everything fits together sensibly. I really recommend this book for students like me who are new to Evidence.

Ranked the class for the first time using this book. I love the format of this series of hornbooks, and I try to buy one for every class I take now. Only problem is that some subjects need updated editions, but this covered the fre's very well. I also bought Mueller and Kirkpatrick evidence hornbook for more detailed explanation of some topics. Highly highly reccommend.

Hornbooks have invaluable footnotes and all kinds of references. I wish this book was in a hard cover format. I use it so much that it will not last as a softcover. A must for Law students.

I'm a big fan of the Concise Hornbook series, but this one is completely unnecessary. The Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, with the Committee notes, is all your really need. I got an A+ without touching this book.
My friends and I loved this book. It was, as the name suggests, concise and to the point. I even bought other evidence supplements (like the Lexis Understanding Evidence) and found this was 100x better.
This book is based off of the textbook written by Saltzburg, so it was a really nice supplement for my textbook.
