I got this book as a reference for studying for the environmental law PE exam, hoping that it would explain various aspects of the statute in plain language in an easy-to-navigate format. This book was not helpful. The language throughout the book was very subjective, lacked accuracy (I got a wrong answer to a practice problem when I first used this book for reference). The book was not well organized, and the index was not helpful with finding key terms. Reading the book is like hearing an old-timer talking out loud about his PERSONAL opinion about the regulations.

I subsequently found a book that was very helpful. It's the "Environmental Law Handbook", blue hardcover. It is much more comprehensive, well-organized, easy to navigate, with great index.

Got it for the PE Environmental Engineering exam, hoping it would be helpful, but it was hard to find information in the book. It reads like a novel. I ended up returning it.

Very dry and not set up in an easy-to-read/organized textbook forma like I was expecting. Definitely not good for students. I had to buy this book for a class and it didn't help me one bit.
