Howard Allan Stern (born January 12, 1954) is an American radio and television personality and author. Stern has broadcast on Sirius XM Satellite Radio since 2006. Stern landed his first radio jobs while at Boston University.

Howard Stern is a radio and television host. Howard replaced Piers Morgan in Season 7 of America's Got Talent. He returned for Season 8, Season 9, and Season 10. The self-dubbed King of All Media earned millions of fans--not to mention dollars--channeling his id across the airwaves. Born in Long Island, this gawky nerd didn't look like a star, which made radio a perfect career move.

Howard Stern to release first book in more than 20 years. It’s been 24 years since Howard Stern released 1995’s Miss America, the radio personality’s second book following his debut literary effort, 1993’s Private Parts. But Stern, 65, has finally finished his next venture and it’s coming out this year. Announced Tuesday, Howard Stern Comes Again will be published by Simon & Schuster on May 14. I’ve been waiting two years for this book to be finished, because Howard Stern told me to be patient, said Jonathan Karp, Stern’s publisher at Simon & Schuster. It was well worth the wait.
