Hours before the costumed "Pirates' Ball," Elizabeth Rawley witnessed a strange spectacle in the waters off Key West. Engaged in mortal combat was the Black Cutter, Captain Richard Colter's ship. It has been years since I read this book, so when Pirate Romance was called for a Sub-genre of the month challenge, I went back and re-read it.
