Got to tell you all this was a most intriguing tale from beginning to end. I found this fascinating since I have never seen a storyline like this one. Men having babies. Be honest women I know I would admit it that I would love to see men having babies, letting them see how the other half lives. I have thought this way for many years, glad to see someone put it to pen and paper.

Wondered how Stephanie Burke would twist and tell this tale, and she didn't disappoint, giving a great story from the beginning to end, of Flame and Kendall, the love and trust that builds between them and the kids that Flame gives birth to.

The twist to this tale is how Flame learns to trust females and realize that females on his planet is just plain `out there' and not the norm, and pretty much has become a females worse nightmare. What we could become if we lose sight of who we are as a gender. The greatness of females in general, what if in our quest to be stronger of character, we become what we detest most in males, especially those of our past. Showing how far females have come through history to becoming the strong characters that we are now without losing sight of who we are and still maintaining our empathy for human beings in general. This unlike many believe is out greatest strength not a weakness like some believe. It is part of what would make us great rulers one day. Mmm.
Would love to have had more added to the story at the end.

Would love to see more from this author about this like maybe a story about Devo, Flame's mentor and friend. PLEASE!

I want more of Flame this sexy, soft spoken, extremely intelligent adorable alien won me over in my first sci-fi fantasy. Normally sci-fi fantasies go over the top but somehow Stephanie was able to keep the balance between normal and paranormal. The book was realistic I can totally relate to women ruling a planet making men slaves. I really enjoyed this book witnessing Flame struggle to contain his great power had me on edge I couldn't finish fast enough the book was that awesome good job Stephanie Burke.

This was a well written well thought out story. The characters were likable and believable. This was a sweet little romance with some amazing love scenes. I recommend this book to those who like ir romance. My only con for this book is that I did find a few (maybe 3) spelling mistakes but they were not enough to pull me out of the story. This is well worth the read.

It's difficult to even get through this book...there seems to be a significant grammatical error at least every 5 sentences. Bad punctuation makes it difficult to read the proper flow of a sentence. Even worse than that, frequently an incorrect word all together is used that makes no sense in the context of the sentence. There also seem to be discrepancies in the story line. Did this book ever even see an editor?

I love this book. The best part it is interracial sci-fi story. The plot is little wild. Flame escape from is planet because his wife..no his mistress who was murder. Someone is trying to kill him and his unborn children. Escape and land on earth. Kendall find him on her front poarch. Flame must find a way to protect his children and his Kendall from females of Planet Testrios. I like the plot. It was different and the sex was off the chain. Oh ladies and genltemen they don't call him Flame for nothering. Ms. Burke also wrote his son story Spark in Testrios II. It is ebook find it on [...]. It is not in paperback yet. Now if Ms. Burke would release Flame's daughter Ember. It been waiting over five years for that story. I got to see a black president before I could read Ember's story. I am praying she will release this book this year. I digrees I apologize. Back to the book I love it and its fun book to read.

This was a good read. It was different becuase there was defintaly role reversal here. The female was the alpha in this case. It was sweet and you fell in love with Flame.

Nice simple plot. Definitely an escapist bit of brain candy. You won't learn more about the human condition but that's not why you picked the title right?
