Guiding Alice, by one of our most popular authors Alice Liddell, is a more traditional kind of spanking story, that of old-fashioned guardian and ward discipline. For those of you who have been asking for more of this sort of story, Guiding Alice is for you. This novella features traditional hard spanking with no romantic or sexual overtones.

Alice Liddell (American McGee's), London, United Kingdom. The Cheshire Kitten Plush is your furry guide through the Chaos of Life. Deutsch: Alice Pleasance Liddell (4. Mai 1852, † 16. November 1934) war die Vorlage für die Heldin in Lewis Carrolls Klassiker "Alice im Wunderland". English: Alice Liddell (later Alice Hargreaves) was the girl for and about whom Lewis Carroll wrote Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

Life changes drastically for eighteen-year-old Alice when she is sent from Los Angeles to England to live with her very proper British uncle, a man with decidedly old-fashioned ideas about how young ladies should behave. Matters between them would have come to a head soon enough, but it is a sternly worded letter from the headmistress of Alice's new school that forces her uncle's hand. After an initial disciplinary session over that letter, Christopher Hardacre lays down the law. He informs his niece in no uncertain terms that she may expect frequent punishments if she doesn't follow his rules, and that her bottom will be laid bare each and every time. The strict regime is intended entirely for Alice's benefit, and despite considerable discomfort to her derriere Alice finds herself feeling safer and more loved than she ever has before. Meanwhile Uncle Chris discovers something about himself, which is that he feels fulfilled when effecting positive change on a loved one's life. Mr. Hardacre wonders if it's time to marry his long-time lady friend, Diana. But would she ever agree to the terms he now understands he must seek? This story features hard bare-bottom spankings with a variety of implements, including strap, tawse, paddle and, of course a man's strong bare hand. It also includes instructive humiliations such as being forced to stand skirt up and panties down while awaiting a punishment; a soapy mouth washing, and submitting to a rectal thermometer. There is also a lengthy disciplinary session culminating in a desperation-inducing punishment enema. Please note that author Alice Liddell is known for harsh punishments and non-consensual stories. “Guiding Alice” is a little different from her other novellas in that it is an old-fashioned “guardian spanks ward” story with no romantic or sexual overtones. The punishments in this story may be severe but are administered for the miscreant’s own good. Nevertheless, if either harsh punishments or the idea of an uncle spanking his niece disturbs you, please do not buy this book.

This book gets five stars because it appeals both to my love of spanking and my deep-seated (pun intended) Anglophilia.

There's no sex in this book. There is lots of discipline and some of it quite severe. The story follows the painful journey of Alice, who travels from L.A. to misty England to live with an uncle. Christopher Hardacre is a stern, buttoned-up type of guy with definite notions about what constitutes proper behavior and poor Alice just doesn't impress him as sufficiently obedient. So he sets about garnering that obedience with loads of exquisitely described bare-bottomed spankings administered with a wide variety of implements. That's another thing I love about this book: diversity. If you've ever wondered what the difference is between being tawsed and being paddled, the descriptions in this book give you a good idea of what to expect should you ever find yourself packed off to a stern British uncle.

Alice Liddell is known for her very different, very edgy stories. Guiding Alice doesn't disappoint. A five star read that should get ten stars.

This was quite good. The stories sort of morph into each other, the more you read erotic literature. I think they should have more of a story and maybe be a bit longer.

This is a poorly written, thinly disguised tale of perversion. Disgusting is the most polite term I can think of to describe it.

Alice Liddell is my go-to author when I want to read something from the Victorian-era that doesn't sugar-coat punishment. Her stories are always descriptive and severe - even brutal. If you don't like that then don't buy them. If you do like that then you'll find yourself wanting every book she's written. I love the historical settings and how the morals of the time are juxtaposed against the sexuality of the stories. It's very Jekyll and Hyde!

This is definitly not a romance story except for nerar the end when Uncle Chris finally gets his true girl in the end. This is a story about a young girl who comes to live with her Uncle because her mother is to flighty to deal with her. He his very strict and she recieves many bare bottom punishments at home as well as at school. Very well written for anyone who isn't looking for the romance aspect as much as a true relationship between ward and gaurdian.
One of the best books I have read. It was very helpful and a good example of discipline. Also showed a good example of a relative caring truly for his loved one.
