The Book of Ezekiel is the third of the Latter Prophets in the Tanakh and one of the major prophetic books in the Old Testament, following Isaiah and Jeremiah. According to the book itself, it records six visions of the prophet Ezekiel, exiled in Babylon, during the 22 years from 593 to 571 BC, although it is the product of a long and complex history and does not necessarily preserve the very words of the prophet.

She usually sticks to a healthy lifestyle and recently revealed her nutritious yet very pricey breakfast of avocado on toast made with £6 loaf of Ezekiel 4:9 bread. The Book of Ezekiel is a schizophrenic fever dream masquerading as a book of prophecy. It features UFOs, a really dubious bread recipe, a famous old atomy-lesson, a rather bizarre passage about God hating pillows, kerchiefs, and a wall; and Chapter 23, the Bible's very own Rule 34, to which every Christian boy has spanked it at least once

Why is Ezekiel so important? The book of Ezekiel pronounces judgment on both Israel and surrounding nations, but it also provides a vision of the future millennial kingdom that complements and adds to the vision of other Old and New Testament texts. The book of Ezekiel reminds us to seek out the Lord in those dark times when we feel lost, to examine our own lives, and to align ourselves with the one true God. Will you consider doing so today? It is the 41st millennium. For more than a hundred centuries the Emperor has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Earth. He is the master of mankind by the will of the gods, and master of a million worlds by the might of his inexhaustible armies. He is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with power from the Dark Age of Technology. Though the shell was the same colour and bore the same markings as the other dead creature, this one still had its weapon gripped in its hand – the mirror of the one Byr had found in the crater.
