Ships from and sold by The General Leigh Store. and it's a huge BUT. I've found almost 50 and I'm about 3/4 of the way through the book. Many of the typos are not just misspelled words, but incorrect words that make a sentence unreadable. And in one case the F word is used and it certainly is NOT in the original book.

and it's a huge BUT. I've read this book in hardbound format many times, it's a wonderful story, one of Barbara Taylor Bradford's best. However, the Kindle edition has many, many typos. I've found almost 50 and I'm about 3/4 of the way through the book. Many of the typos are not just misspelled words, but incorrect words that make a sentence unreadable. This book needs to be edited and reissued to those who have paid for it. And made available with corrections to those who want to buy it in the Kindle format.

As always, I loved the content and story written by Barbara Taylor Bradford. The characters were easy for me to visualize and interactions among the characters were masterfully woven together that kept me involved to the end.

This is the second BTB Kindle book I have read in 2014 riddled with typos. It is very annoying and distracting. With today's technology, there is no excuse for selling this book from this author with so many errors.

I am disappointed that this quality is an acceptable standard for the Kindle collection..

I thought this was an excellent novel; but, for me it was a bit too long. So much of the novel is filled with descriptions rather than character development. It was not until about page 500 that the book really started to move and I could not put it down. It really is a great story with very good writing. Her earlier novels are more complex than her more recent novels. It is a great story between two women and I highly recommend it. It is just very long coming under 800 pages.

When Francesca Avery sits for an interview with Estelle, she is not very happy to learn that the interview is under false pretenses. Estelle really wants her to talk to Katherine Tempest, a woman she used to be friends with for years, but Francesca doesn't want to talk about it. What happened between her and Katherine? Why is Katherine wanting to talk to her now so bad? The bulk of the book unfolds over what was a quite significant year for Francesca, Katherine, Nicholas and Victor. The book was quite lengthy but did hold my interest

It was a wonderful book. I have not finished it yet but am really enjoying it. However, the kindle edition is very poorly edited. The editing is really confusing. Were it not for that, I would give the book a 5. It is that good.

Once again it is a good book. I couldn't put it down. It is very much worth the read.
I like the strong women in her books. This was nice to tie back to some of the past
people in older books. If you like great strong women roles you need to read all of
her books as they have wonderful stories that will give you hours of pleasure and
you will love to follor the store and they will be come like family.

I had some difficulty getting into this book. It seemed to be pretty slow moving. I kept at it, and was somewhat surprised by the conclusion. The ending was worth finishing the book. The characters were developed well, but the story lines, past and present, were occasionally confusing.
Have always loved Barbara Taylor Bradfords books but this was not by far a favorite. There were many typos which ruined the flow of the story and in general the book was too long.Usually I hate for her books to end.Can not in good conscience give this book a good review.
