The ladies are at it again, this time acting like Robin Hood (for hire) as they steal back money that was absconded by the president of the World Bank. The money was to go to citizens of starving countries to relieve hunger. Add in rats, plague, the CDC and Homeland Security, wild weather, bumbling reporters and it read is a fun quick read

A well written 2nd installment in the Texas series. We are updated on all the lives of the characters, but this book is a focus on Maggie and those living at Sunbridge. Maggie spent most of her life trying to get a little attention and love from her father, but never felt she measured up. She was left feeling that way until she finds out he left her the beloved home Sunbridge. She quickly moves back to Texas with son Cole in tow, and also invites Riley to learn about his history. Cole and Riley are rivals in every phase of life, but must learn to rely on each other as true family members. Maggie does alot of soul searching, and takes a hard look at the way she has lived her life.

I was looking forward to reading this book and I was let down.
Way too much repetitiveness. The last part was better than the first part, I skipped the middle because it was dragging.
She, Fern Michaels, has done it again! What a great book. I read it in less than two days. Exciting, great story line, and I really love all the characters in this series of books. I admire Michael's imagination and writing abilities. She is tops. I recommend this series of books to everyone and strongly suggest reading them in order simply to bring the stories together. Good reading to all and I certainly intend on reading the remainder of the books in this series.
