This book was mediocre compared to other stories written by these two authors. Story started out very slow to me and I started to lose interest leading up to the first date. Once Ashlee's background was revealed, the story became more interesting.

Hope there is a sequel, because I'm interested in knowing how Miss Ashlee and Jay's situations turn out.

Two of the best authors in the literary game have combined their talents and given us a treat. Carl Weber brings Jay Crawford from Married Men and Mary B. Morrison brings Ashlee Anderson from the Soulmates Dissipate series . They cross paths in a D.C. club and instantly fall in lust. Unfortunately for Jay, Ashlee has not gotten over Darius or the lost of her son. What started out as something beautiful has turned into something very ugly.

This book was a definite page turner and one I would recommend to everyone.

Carl Weber and Mary B. Morrison together and apart always deliver an action pack read. If you haven't bought this yet, then I have one question to ask ya? What the hell you waiting for!

This is the one!!!!! If you are looking for a good read. Trust me people, you won't be disappointed. I had no doubt that this story would not be off the freaking hook and I didn't have any prior knowledge that this book would bring together two of our must well know characters from books previously written by Carl Weber and Mary B. Morrison separately. Chile please! I finished this book in one day! I turned page after page after page until their was nothing left to turn! and let me tell ya!!! you will be surprised!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've never read Mary Morrison book but there isn't a Carl Weber book I haven't read. I liked the book, read it in 1 1/2 days. I read erotica, I write erotic poetry. But come on. Did every other page have to have every conversation lead to sex? Did every other page have to be sex when the real story was so powerful? It was distracting from the quality of the writing and story telling. I would have loved to have seen another chapter after the "epilog" of the book. Things were getting good! Overall, worth the read but too much focus on sex at weird times.

I often wonder why men were made to be so weak, stupid, and blind when it came to sex. Guess you can't question HIS plan. Still it's pretty sad. This story was extremely shallow had no depth whatsoever. Even the mental illness used in the story line was weak. At least the Authors tried to keep things interesting throughout the book.

I loved both characters (Ray and Ashlee) from their respective story lines. Mary Morrison and Carl Weber are both so talented, but their style of writing is very different. While Mary's books border on erotica, Carl's focus has always been the celebration of friends and family...both of which I respect. The combination of the two styles did not work for me. The only think I did get a kick out of was seeing Jay get his come uppance and Ashlee finally uising her trademark passive aggressiveness in fighting for something (even if her insanity made her reason and mode of fighting a bit strange)

I am glad I read the book, but would have loved the chareacters to continue to develop past their roles in previous books.
I would say this dirty dog met his match. I was shocked at how he got caught up with this crazy chick. He had all his fun for all those years, and finally met the woman that put him down. She was crazy as hell. I bet his life sucks because all he can think about are the actions that led him toward his demise.
