Pete McCormack (born January 27, 1965) is a Canadian author, filmmaker, screenwriter and musician. He is best known for directing the Academy Award short-listed documentary Facing Ali and the Leacock Award-nominated novel Understanding Ken. He is the creator of the HBO Canada documentary television series Sports on Fire. In 2003, McCormack directed and wrote his first feature film, the award-winning See Grace Fly, starring Paul McGillion and Gina Chiarelli

Peter McCormack (born 1 August 1956) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Collingwood in the VFL during the late 1970s and 1980s before finishing his career with stints at Richmond and Fitzroy. Collingwood recruited McCormack from Assumption College where he was a successful forward. He thus began at Collingwood in the full-forward position but struggled and in his second season and required a knee reconstruction.
