I knocked off 3 stars for the following reasons:
1) the dialogue was not edited enough and there was an error that switched the possessive nouns around ("my mother's daughter's" was printed as "my daughter's mother's") which interrupted the flow and also made no sense. It was also excessively wordy ("my mother's daughter's friend" should have read "my sister's friend").
2) The art was a little abstract and distracting at times due to the over dramatic and unrealistic poses. If anything, it did add a humorous edge to the story.
3) The plot itself was rushed and too condensed. Reading this comic was like reading the synopsis of a book, all the highlights on a bullet train, but less of the substance that builds a good story.

If you've read the original, you might like this abridged version. However, I didn't find the characters compelling or the plot (or art) interesting, so this is not one I'll read again.

They both wanted the same things but neither knew how to communicate how fearfully how they really felt. That's why it's important to get to know your spouses well during the dating process, sex before a communicative relationship is only temporary.

I read this story in the paperback edition years ago. Still like reading it now. This story involves Catherine and Vito who marriage broke when after the loss of their second child. She found out he was with another woman while she was in the hospital. Now several years later their divorce is almost finished. But their first child is having problems with his fathers new/old girlfriend. And Catherine is out for blood. This story is one that I enjoy the ignorance of the lead male. And the repercussions that come from not being honest with his wife.

From the beginning to the end this story captivates you. The story had many misunderstandings which hurt the couple but the truth is so much more powerful. It is worth reading.

I love the story very exciting. I will add to my collection. Another plus fot michelle reid. I want ti read more
Catherine is a rare HP heroine - staunch, steadfast and sticks it up hero Vito left, right and centre. I loved that she held her own, supported their son, Santos against 3 adults diminishing his self-belief but still instilling good manners. The blazing love that Vito and Catherine have simply rages against all logic.

And of course we must love the manipulations of OW Marietta - what story could be complete without the delicious unraveling of OW's eventual demise? Especially with the unexpected support from Marcus, an assumed lover of Catherine

Yes, Vito is a bit of nerd not getting it thru his thick skull to put his son Santos before OW, but once he realises OW evil intentions, he certainly rides it out. Powerful HEA as Catherine's life is taken into consideration and Vito swings into action.
I unexpectly enjoyed this novel, one of the few that gets on my top 10 list.
