This is the third in a series of Carol Mortimer storys, There was Hawk the Duke, Damien the second son and war hero, and now the third son, who is naturally a bit of a rake, with no calling to anything and least of all the church, Sebastian.

They all great reads, if not necessarily great literature. They do what they are intended to do. They entertain while not requiring a great deal of brain power. They are somewhat perdictible but they are always well written. They have a fluff quality while also being serious in their nature.

I recommend this one because of many things but mostly that is completes the series and therefore make you feel as if the story is truly finished.

Buy, Read, Enjoy.

I wanted to like this book. I enjoyed the first two books about the other brothers. But Sebastian was a jerk. Juliet was a bitter and unlikable suspicious person. One-third of the way through the book I decided I could not finish it. I do not recommend this book at all. He acted like he was about 13, selfish and thoughtless. He wanted her but did not respect her. He manhandled her and disregarded her wishes for him to stop. She was suspicious and jumped to conclusions making accusations where there was no basis. I am glad they will end up together but I am not sticking around for the end.

The book arrived earlier than I expected and in great condition. I am reading it now and so far, I am enjoying it. I bought the series because I read a Christmas anthology that had the St. Claires in it and wanted to read more on them.
