This book is amazing. Now I understand why he became such a good engineer, he has dozens of books of his times and most are astonishing good in quality. Written by William Anthony Granville, by reading this book, I can assume he was a great mathematician and a great teacher, but no, he was into phylosophy and law, anyway, he clearly was a mastermind on this.
