A nice collection of essays on Chaplin from a variety of sources, showing him in the context of his times with both popular culture as well as works by such varied peers as Sergei Eisenstein and Groucho Marx. Enjoyable for fans and useful for historians.

Well done book that reprints various articles on Chaplin from back in his day. Some articles were written by Buster keaton , Mary Pickford and Groucho Marx. Some photos preceed each article.Recommended for the Chaplin fan.
