Mummy's the Word book.

Mummy's the Word book. Star light, star fright, first star I see tonight. I love other books by Kerry Blair, but I just couldn't get into this one. At first I thought the quirky characters and storyline weirdness were ly not ones I would ever come up with myself (which always impresses me). It was all quite humorous.

As usual Kerry did an outstanding job on this novel. A very fun read. I love Samantha Shade! She is a real person and the many asides, with personal references, add a fun element of humor to the story. I can't wait to read more about Sam Shade and the Nightshade Investigation team.

I read "Ghost of a Chance" already and that's the reason I bought "Mummy's the Word". I didn't know there was a "Nightshade" series or I would have bought this book first. I really like the characters and the way she discribes them. She makes you want to keep reading when you know you should stop because there's other things you should be doing. I've already bought and read another book she wrote that wasn't in the series because she makes them interesting and I enjoy not having to worry about the language, etc. She has a sense of humor throughout her books. ENJOY!!
