The emphasis here is on improving your Spanish. It assumes plenty of prior knowledge but has a good set of reminders about common bad habits. There are good tips on when to use the subjunctive but only a few, sparse examples. I'm at a stage where I can recognize it when I see it, but I can't always use it or know when to. This is not the type of book that shows you a verb conjugation in a table. Comparison to French and German were useful to me. The chapter on 'por' and 'para' was not very clear, just when I thought I had a system to decide which was correct.

Very thorough, understandable, useful, fun. Bought a copy for my classmate in adult Spanish class.

Great book. There are loads of things even "native" Spanish speakers will dispute or flat-out not know.

Good, short summarised points on the tricky bits of Spanish Grammar. Useful for the beginner but probably bit too basic for the advanced learner since it doesn't go into too much detail on important points like the subjunctive and which past tenses to use.

if you have already taken a spanish course and know some of your spanish will tell you abart from the natives this course teaches you the do's and don'ts.

This book bought through Amazon.com gives good, basic grammar pointers of interest to beginning and intermediate learners. Students who want to fine tune their Spanish should look elsewhere for pointers.

This book does provide very useful grammar points to help the learner gain a better understanding and command of the language. However, I have to give this book a low rating because it promises that there is a free audio download from the publisher's website, and it is nonexistent. When I tried to contact them, I did not give them a response. For this, I cannot give the product more than 2 stars because it misleads the consumers additional learning materials that is not there.
