This is, hands down, the easiest History read yet. It flows well and is straight to the point, albeit a little over-detailed.

This was very helpful for my high school child taking a dual enrollment US history course. He is able to carry it with him and highlight.
Love that this comes in an e-book. This is highly convenient for a student who partakes in the virtual college classroom.

This is a good history book to read. I needed it for my American History class. I enjoyed history for the first time, however I did have a good instructor too!!
The book is great quality and details, my son loves it because it is lightweight and easy to carry around.

BUT...this book negatively affected their grade because it is NOT the same as the hardcover. This book lacks pictures and diagrams and the page numbers do not match up. It probably wouldn't be a major problem, but they are in an AP online class, and the page numbers for their quizzes did not coincide with their book. They do not have other students or the instructor to discuss face-to-face with.

I did order the very expensive hard cover, because it was to confusing with the soft cover. We kept this soft cover, and it is handy having two books for two children.

I made the mistake of believing the online booksellers and the college bookstore websites that claimed it is the same book.
